I will be putting this tree somewhere in my yard. It's a Persian Silk Tree. I'm told it's a "weed tree" but the Wikipedia entry suggests that it's not invasive in California or Oregon. It is messy but I guess that's true of a lot of varieties. I just love the flowers and the spreading form of the tree. So I'm going to think about this but still leaning toward this tree somewhere!

View to the yard from the Master
There will be a double-slider here and a door to the left. We'll be looking out this direction from bed.
Shamu on the job site
Someone put a huge killer whale stuffed animal on the porta-potty. Don't even ask. I have no idea.
Tall wall
Another view. This wall will be prominent int he front of the house and will define the entryway.
View from the east
You can see the pool house on your left and the large board-formed concrete wall. This view is from the east side of the lot, along the back wall of the backyard fence.
Jack n' Jack Bath
As it's shared by two boys, seems more appropriate to call it this. Window will be in the shower area.
Fireplace and great room
The bump out is for the fireplace. The great room is behind. It will be the last to be framed.
"Interior" courtyard
On the flip-side of the street view. There will be a lot of windows along the hallway. It's going to be quite a gallery.
